Joy Manufacturing confirms more layoffs

Joy Global Manufacturing, in Franklin, has laid off more workers.  Reports vary, but it is rumored that some 65 workers were laid off this week, on top of about 45 last week.  Officials would not confirm a specific number.  The layoffs could prove a serious blow to the economy in Franklin.  In April, some 150 workers at a PNC call center were told they would be put out of work.  The call center said it will close its doors in November.
