Townville’s Old Home Days celebration planned
Townville’s largest festival kicks off today at noon. The 43rd annual Old Home Days is a weekend-long fundraiser for Townville’s local volunteer fire department and ambulance service. Doreen Munzie says food vendors, local bands, and a firemen’s water battle are among the highlights of the festival:
“It’s going strong. It gets bigger and better every year.”
Munzie says one of tonight’s biggest attractions will be the Queen Pageant, which gets underway at 7:00. The Old Home Days festival is held at Maplewood Elementary School.
