Two injured in Greenwood Township crash

Two people are injured in a T-Bone crash at the intersection of Routes 285 and 19 in Greenwood Township yesterday morning.  State police say 64-year-old Gary Carter was headed east on 285 when he failed to yield to traffic while crossing the intersection. He was struck in the passenger side by a northbound Richard Slinguff, of Guys Mills.

Police say the impact pushed both vehicles across the intersection, and slammed Carter’s driver side door into a metal light post.  Carter was life flighted to Hamot Hospital.  Richard Slinguff was unharmed, but police say a passenger, 77-year-old Joe Slinguff, also of Guys Mille, was injured and was taken by ambulance to Meadville Medical Center.
