Two injured in Fairfield crash

Two people are injured in a car accident in Fairfield Township Sunday night.  State police say 20-year-old Shane Nageotte, of Meadville, was traveling west on Route 285 when he attempted to pass another vehicle near the crest of a hill.  Police say Nageotte swerved to avoid colliding with oncoming traffic but lost control of his vehicle, crashing into a ditch.  Nageotte had minor injuries in the crash.  A passenger, William Hall, of Conneaut Lake, had moderate injuries.
