Postal service to close Erie plant

It could be the end of same-day mail in Northwest PA.  The postal service is looking at possibly closing an Erie processing facility this spring.  If that happens, local mail would be processed in either Pittsburgh or Rochester.  That means it would take two to three days for First Class letters to be delivered.  The plan would also result in a loss of about 120 jobs.
