BREAKING NEWS: Fire at tear gas plant

A fire at a Jamestown, PA area munitions plant is out after crews were called in from three counties this morning. Crews remained on the scene as some areas continued to smolder.
Several Crawford County fire departments were called in to assist Mercer County crews who were on the scene of a blaze at a Greene Township plant where tear gas is manufactured.
Mercer County crews were called to the scene at 7:23 this morning. Crawford County 911 reports that at 7:26 North Shenango, Conneaut Lake and Conneaut Lake Park Volunteer Fire Departments were called to the scene of a fire at the Combined Tactical Systems plant on Kinsman Road in Greene Township. In Mercer County, departments from Jamestown, Hempfield, Stoneboro, South Pine and Transfer were on the scene. Crews from Trumbull County were also involved.
At 8:30, a 911 dispatcher said the fire was mostly under control. At about 9:30 the fire was declared out.
One injury was reported. That person was taken to UPMC in Greenville, according to unconfirmed reports.
The plant manufactures tear gas as well as flash bang grenades, various types of shotguns and breaching rounds, and other lethal and non-lethal weapons.
